Practice Management on Embodia - Part 2: Scheduling - General scheduling settings

The actions described in this lesson require a Manager permission on your clinic.

In this lesson, we will go over the additional scheduling settings available to your clinic.

To manage your scheduling settings, click on the Settings tab in the top nav bar, and then on General settings under the Scheduling settings section.

Scheduling settings

By default, these settings are turned off on your account. You can turn them on by checking the box next to the setting you would like to enable as shown in the image above. We'll outline each of these scheduling settings for you below. If you update any of your settings, click on the 'Update settings' button to save your changes.

 

Send an email when a clinic admin schedules a consult

By default, Embodia does not send an email to the practitioner when a consult is scheduled by the clinic admin. You can opt-in to receiving an email by checking "Email the practitioner when a consult is scheduled by the clinic admin" checkbox.


Enable double booking

By default, Embodia does not allow a practitioner to be double booked. You can override this behaviour by checking the "Enable double booking" checkbox. Please note that, at any given time, you can have at most 2 concurrent consults.

Enable multi-practitioner consults

On Embodia, a consult is associated with one practitioner. If you would like to indicate that multiple practitioners took part of one consult, you can enable multi-practitioner consults by checking the checkbox below
